Chinese Porcelain Teapot, East India Compan, Qing Dynasty (1622-1912), Yongzheng Period (1723-1735). Decorated in Famille Rose shades on the glaze. The body of the teapot features several peonies, symbol of spring, love, affection and feminine beauty. It has a geometric frieze with four reserves, in which a flower is presented. The teapot lid is decorated with polychrome flowers and has the same frieze decoration as the teapot.
